He only bought the gti for the engine and was gona scrap the rest so i took the front end off him for about £40 =). Link to post Share on other sites

VRRob 0 Posted April 18, 2011 Author Report Share Posted April 18, 2011 Just found some pics of the bbs before refurb....After considering selling the bbs buying some new wheels and then chagning my mind again... i decided to refrub the bbs. This is what they looked like, some bad damage here and there...Two of the lips where badly damaged... so i split the rims and removed all the lips. Wasnt too bad a job went easier than i thought it would.Most of the bolt holes had the paint bubbling round them this took alot of sanding and some very sore fingers lol but it was all worth it =) Heres the finished result....
