Seademon 0
Just been working out how to show pics - worked out how to do a link not show a pic :@ First pic is of my front brake disc etc - cleaned out all the arches etc whilst the wheels are being refurbed, took the inner arch out on the drivers side and the mud etc had built up to about 8" high - could have potted a plant with what I removed! I've repainted the calipers etc now so everythings nice and clean for when the wheels go back on.Second one is of my HKS air filter - fitted by the last owner, think its from a Skyline or something. Not sure if it gives me as many extra Bhp as a BMC CDA etc would but its bloody loud! Windows shatter when I hit 4k Rpm! :| I need to route some cold air to it which im finding a bit hard :? Geastb 0
What brake set up are you using?
Seademon 0
310mm Hi-Spec Discs & Green Stuff pads on the front - Note sure if the calipers are standard VR6 but are VAG of some sort if not (were on the car when I bought it) Drilled and grooved discs on the back too with standard pads - stainless steel brake lines all round.Back Set Up:
Geastb 0
What sort of difference over normal set-up has this got? If you have driven a normal set-up of course?
Seademon 0
Not driven a normal VR6 setup Im afraid but from what I've found using these is that if you brake hard when the discs are cold they arent that amazing - like many brakes but when they are warm the car stops better than my mates cossie that has 320mm discs and 4 pot TVR calipers! They really do bite hard.
