Karr-Man 0 Posted March 24, 2011 Report Share Posted March 24, 2011 Hi there, my mother has a problem with her mk4 glovebox and owning a mk3 myself i cant fathom how the system is supposed to work...basicly the two prongs which should keep the glovebox closed no longer spring back out into position, meaning that the glovebox wont stay closed.due to the nature of the design i cant seem to get to the mechansim as its within the moulded plastic of the glovebox door:( i have a feeing that the handle may be able to be levered off to give me a better view of the mechanism but i dont want to break it... otherwise it looks like it would need a whole new glovebox door?has anyone else had this problem? any advice would be appreciatedthanx Link to post Share on other sites
