wag 0
Right my coil pack seems to be messing around and could do with some new leads.my question is are vw ones best bet or do i go down the magnecore route?Any one using a non genuine coil pack?
VR6Nat 9
stick with OEM ones, if you are planning on going FI sometime soon then go with magnecor & get NGK spark plugs while you're at it. You can repair your coil pack with epoxy resin if it has cracks in it and that is the cause of the problem. If not stick with OEM on that too.

VR6Nat 9
if its a general rough running issue also try disconnecting your maf and seeing how it runs, it could be that just needs a clean with some contact cleaner.
