michael5556 247
My coolant is hitting 90 and should stop at 80, it has a new thermostat, radiator new crack pipe, new thermostat hosing, new bottom hose, new coolant. Oil temp is only going to 94 which is not too bad. Any ideas? The fan seems to be coming on but is squealing a lot but still turns so in theory it shouldn't overheat? michael5556 247
My fans kick in at 80 and it usually goes back down. Maximum 85? Plus there is a strange burning smell?

craggsy 91
Water temp will sit at 90 regardless. Its the way car makers have it, as if the temp gauge was up and down all day long it would worry the normal person
michael5556 247
Hmm I will take your word for it but i am pretty sure it usually stops at 80 and not sure really what type of smell but not a good one
