Im wanting to fit a race pedal box to my vr6, the reason is that im putting a turbo on and dont want to foul the servo,so instead of buying other servos or relocating i may aswell fit a pedal box.the one i am looking at is from demon tweeks and has 3 pedals 6.5:1 pedal ratio complete with bias bar,3 cylinders and clevis, if i fit this kit can i get rid of the servo i know without the servo fitted i will need more pressure applied to stop but i can cope with it,,,if you have any knowledge of fitting a pedal box or know if i can remove the servo totally advice would be greatly received.....

You should need too much more force to stop as you have 2 cylinders doing the work of 1.

Most turbo kits or home brewed turbo conversions still manage to retail the original servo, how come you feel yours has to go? There is more room than you think down the back of a vr! ;-)

i want to run an ATP manifold with a gt3076r and a garrett down pipe and 44mm WG,im aware alot of people state that the servo is in the way with certain setups but yes there is quite a bit of room,i just want to be happy that it will fit. do you know if the atp is RH or LH as on all the pics ive seen it looks quite central. thanks for the reply. i need this on in the next 3 month as im going down to the ring in april..... but do u think that a pedal box is worth a go for more reasons than 1 ...

I think you can get them in rhd or lhd versions. When i first mocked up mine with a copy manifold there didn't seem to be alot of room for the intake pipe into the turbo because the brake master cylinder got in the way. But i'm sure loads of people have got around the problem.
