mikey 0
Right fuses are all ok wiring good and relays all workin by which I mean if I put power on them they operate but I have noticed that relay 109 and 164 both operate the pump any ideas guys ??? Was working fine before I pulled the engine but not now it's back in but to my knowledge there's nothing under the bonnet which would affect that is there ????
Ben Seabrook 4
relay 109 is the ECU relay mate
mikey 0
So in otherwords the ecu is not getting power ?
Ben Seabrook 4
nah I meant that 164 must be the fuel pump one so thats the one to replace if it's not working - is the car not firing at all then ? have you had it on vag-com ?
mikey 0
No haven't got vag com that would make sense tho coz when I operate 109 it all kicks into life so I need to find out why that one isn't getting any juice I wouldn't mind but I haven't even touched any of that !!?!?!? Ben Seabrook 4
I have found on my old vr that the relays didnt really need a reason to stop working ! where are you in Essex as we have a couple of members there with vag-com
mikey 0
I'm in hockey would be great if someone could pop over ! I know what u mean about them just giving up but I have put a supply to them and they are working fine so it must be the supply in the car that's at fault I'm starting to wonder if it's the chip in the key but they are fairly new as well and like I said was fine before do you or anyone else know what controls 109 ?? mikey 0
Yep Definately have no power feeding relay 109 does anyone know where this should come from ???
Apollo 0
Mikey change the relay before chasing any further you may be surprised it could be that simple.
Pearsy47 1
i got a fuel pump relay if you wanna buy it it is working order !
mikey 0
Cheers guys but it's def not the relay as I have now found that the ecu relay has no feed so I must have done something silly under the bonnet !
