legvw 0
How many miles has the box done?I've heard somewhere that they can become troublesome and require a re-build after a certain mileage.
rsweeney 40
it has just done a bit over 62500 ,im going to take it out in a bit for another test the only problem is that it only started doing this when it had been running for roughly an hour or so ...worse comes to worse i will take the sump off and inspect the plastic solenoid clips because when i changed the wiring harness some off the plastic clips that the wiring harness plugs into had started to split slightly

naffa 0
I have recently had a similar problem with my Vr6 engined Galaxy.I ran Vagcom and it showed an intermittent signal from the throttle position sensor and there was some agreement that this could be the cause of the problem. Also there were no gearbox fault codes found on Vagcom. The problem righted itself within a day and hasn't reappeared.
