23345matt 0 Posted October 12, 2010 Report Share Posted October 12, 2010 Have been insuring the vr for the past 2 month with a popular insurace company and got a letter today stating they have not recieved my imobilzer cert, on contacting them and telling them its a factory fitted immob they have still said they need proof, Has anyone come across this before with any other insurers.I have had to get a vw specialist in louth to get the original spec sheet for the car to prove this, and it was a pain in the bum, But the guys in louth where superb Link to post Share on other sites

And, if I didn't send them anything they would put my policy up to it's original price. Who keeps quotes, especially when you're months in to the cover?So, just sent them an angry letter and heard nothing since.Possibly another way for them to try of steal a bit more of your hard earned cash.
