Colour change

My mk3 is in my mates unit getting painted (HTG - Does awesome work!)

Its getting full shot and I was going to keep satin silver. Its a very nice colour but it wasnt my first choice colour when looking for a mk3.

So after talking to a few people down at the unit and looking at colour chips we've narrowed it down to a select few colours. Nothing OTT, wanted to keep the mk3 looking factory fresh but will have the old skool character.

(I only want the colour change if the bay is getting painted, if its not its staying satin silver)

Ive never actually changed the colour of the car, so what do I have to do to delcare the colour change and keep it all legal?

Change it on the v5 form an your insurance company will need to be informed too.
