manz 0
Sorry to bother you kind people but i have this issue with installing with my vr, ive had it since the day i bought it and the previous owner said it was because it had been bored but someone told me recently its due to a sh!t remap..its a corrado engine which apparantly has been bored out to a 3.1... every morning i have to start and accelerate just to hold the revs to 1000 for about a min otherwise it will stall. Once it has started up and have been driving around for a bit its fine for the rest of the day. (unless its snowing and the engine is completely frozen)Any sugguestion what it might be, and how would i fix it? i love the power i get out of it at the moment as it p!ssed over my mates vr so i dont really want to go back to a standard setting..Also i bought another ECU just to see if it was down to the remap but when i connected it to the car it didnt even start. I contacted the person i bought the ECU of and he said its beacuse its not syncd to your engine. (ECU was exactly the same as the one currently on the vr)I know bits but i want to know how true that is about syncing the ECU, and if so can i use 2 ECU with my car? 1 for daily and 1 for f*cking bout? Thanks in advance
goonersteve 0
Not sure about the ECU issue, but i'm sure someone on here will be able to tell you. As for the stalling, may be that the ISV needs adjusting possibly?
