Lukey. 381 Posted September 10, 2010 Report Share Posted September 10, 2010 after the mk3 vr6 12v they moved onto the 24v, they carried on the 12v in US though, you could get an 02 golf or jetta with a 12v, they got a few more bhp with the VGI fitted as standard, literally a few, like 3 more, it was then replaced with the 24v over there too.If it was an 04 it was a 24v, as the later sharans were 24v too, same engine as the golf 4motion 201bhp Link to post Share on other sites
