Kami 0
Well.... LOL they don't really have to be blue, it just goes well with the detailing of the engine, but ulimately it's all about the 221BHP that comes from under the hood, I'm more concerned about keeping as many of those ponies as I can. Thanks
craggsy 91
genuine then....i had 10mm dubpower leads and it was missing...changed everything to cure it then bought some genuine leads and it cured it.Im not the only one to buy genuine and say its best set of leads they've had
Kami 0
Cool! Any recommendations on websites to buy them from or would you recommend the stealership? It's really to try and cure a misfire. Although the leads say Hi Performance, I don't know their quality.
craggsy 91
Leads cannot be high performance.....they just transmit the spark the coilpack/dizzy makes.I bought mine from TPS/VW paid about £100 or so
Kami 0
No doubt! Some manufactorers make some tall claims though! Thanks for the advice!

Antihero1981 8
i got some dubpower standard size leads on my charged vento and it solved my missing issue....40 quid and cheaper than any oem ones i could find
Kami 0
I got my standard leads today £39 I paid for them. However...I found the real reason why it's missing a beat. A small wire on the MAF plug has snapped. I've managed to sort it for now but I'll need to see how I can replace the broken connector!
Antihero1981 8
get a new maf plug? easy to wire up , i had to extend mine when i put charger in
Kami 0
Really??? I didn't think I'd be able to get a new one due to it being part of the loom. I'll have a look on e-bay. Or can you recomend a site? I'm still fairly new to the VR6's and I'm struggling to fine decent sites for VR6 parts
Antihero1981 8
just get one from a scrap yard ect , cut the wires and then solder onto your wires...pretty easy dude.....a bit of solder + time
