eastwood john 1 Posted June 30, 2010 Report Share Posted June 30, 2010 on pullin up to traffic lights. with out no warning very bad missfire, took it to local garage who i no well to put on vag, all that came up was it was runnin lean, when got home found that 1&6 not fireing, would this meen coilpack, do not have vault meaters to test, any other way ov testing,if it does turn out to be coilpack were best to buy new, did see a thread on here with bright orange ones but cannot find, any body tried them,any help would be great Link to post Share on other sites
Pearsy47 1 Posted June 30, 2010 Report Share Posted June 30, 2010 best way to test if it is the ht lead is to un-plug one at a time and start the engine to see if there is any change to the engine noise and if there is no chance when you have the ht lead un-pluged then it that ht lead and i got told gsf is a good place to get a coil pack from thats if it is it !
