ginga_d 0 Posted April 25, 2010 Report Share Posted April 25, 2010 hi good morning whilst driving to work i noticed that when moving slowly in 1st gear in traffic the gearstick shakes. sometimes i find it quite hard to select 1st when stationary i have to select 2nd then go back to 1st. no other prob.s with the box never falls out of gear and no noises. vr6stormt 0 Posted April 25, 2010 Report Share Posted April 25, 2010 bowser this is a prob iv`e started getting i know its not the clutch but starting to go 2nd to 1st are the ends off selector cables and linkage on top of gear box meant to have any play in them ? and i noticed on the top cable there is some sort of adjustment on the bracket what is this for?
