speedmont 0 Posted April 13, 2010 Report Share Posted April 13, 2010 hi alli've got a p plate golf vr6, currently off the road, it's been sitting for about 6 months wothout urning it over, so question is what should i look out for before starting her up, aso i changed the thermo stat(pain in the arse job) but it's leaking but i can't see where the waters coming from, i've had it on and off about four times ,so is there anyone how can help?, cos once i've got it started and running me gonna sell her.cheersdavid Link to post Share on other sites

cabrioman 6 Posted April 13, 2010 Report Share Posted April 13, 2010 just check engine oil and coolant level br staring mite need fresh fuel .... as for th ecoolant leack is the stat housing cracked hows the crack pipe that are pretty common for cracking and leaking .... speedmont 0 Posted April 13, 2010 Author Report Share Posted April 13, 2010 hiit's new crack pipe and thermo housing,the car was fully serviced before going off the road,so you recon it should start,will any off the pullys be siezed?.reason not started for solong,work away from home alot.
