theblueflash 0
i know there are loads of posts regarding starter motors/starting problems etc but i have a slightly different issue with my vr. after cancelling the immob i turn the key twice to light up the dash. turn it again to start and nothing......wait about 3-4 seconds.......then she fires. no problems. starts like any healthly car/battery would. idles perfect and runs great. battery isnt that old either. my question is are all vrs like this? or is it an immobiliser issue? or do i have a sticky solenoid on the starter? or is the starter motor on the way out?cheersDuncan
Scott 0
is teh delay before the engine starts to turn, or before it fires up? cranking is different from starting, and a lot of people confuse the terms
theblueflash 0
delay before cranking, which is very short then it fires. there is no sound after i turn the key until the starter 'engages' and turns
