standard vr air box

before i ask i have FULLY read the which induction thread post and dont have the answer/info i require.

needing to know if any of you are using the stndard airbox if so which one as the vr one looks a bit odd and doesn't look like it will fir in the mk2 golf engine bay?

if you are using this do you have any pictures?

For what application? Forced induction or normally aspirated?

The Corrado VR6 airbox might fit better in the MK2. The MK3 airbox is a weird shape as you say.

I use the standard airbox in my turbo application and it works fine.

ive seen alot of people use the corrado air box in the mk2 its fits really nice compared to the mk3 air box.

They are £140 new from the dealer if you can't find a s/hand one that hasn't been drilled or hacked to peices.

NA so looking to be a bit different from the rest, had a drilled box on my bv and made a nice noise so im thinking about doing it on the vr in my mk2.

would you say mk3 box or corrado?
