Ian_rogers 0
Whilst havin the wheels allined last week I found a rather nasty suprise.... Rust :-(both front jackin points are rusted to hell (cowboy tyre fitters must be to blame)had in in a garage today to get them to have a closer look and give me an estimate on fixin it, recieved a call a couple of hours later.... They got the side trim off and the rust has spread all down both sills and to part of the floor plan :-(I'm totally gutted, lookin at the car u would never guess what was hidin underneath, they gave me a price for repair in the sum of approx £400-£500 :-(, but they can't do the work cuz the car is too low to get on their ramps properly (Is that a good thing lol)I'm tryin to keep my spirits up n tell myself once it's done I have a decent car but I get the feelin once it's done somethin else is gonna go wrong!I was thinking bout removin the plastic arches but now there is no chance cuz we all know whats gonna be hidin behind there!!Just gotta raise the car and get it bk' down there n get it all welded now n part with a large pile of cash that I was gonnause on exhaust and induction, oh well maybe next year!!
