VR6Nat 9
Hello!!!My clutch pedal is getting annoyingly stiff now... i drove my mates new Mk4 GTi home for him the other day and that had a lovely light clutch and when i got back into mine it feels like ive got a little midget under my clutch pedal pushing it back up.I know either to bleed it or change the slave cylinder but is this an easy job?? and how do i go about bleeding it, might as well try that first. Thanks in advance...
Pearsy47 1
replacing the slave sylinder doesn t seem to be that bad to change cos i ended up un bolting mine for some reason but bleeding the system i think would be from either the master cyclinder or areound the gearbox ?? Bigjobbo 0
Bleed is on the slave cylinder on the box, heavy clutch is usually a sign of a worn cover plate on the clutch, or a dodgy cylinder, master or slave. Both cylinders are done with the box in situ.
