bungy 2 Posted February 1, 2010 Report Share Posted February 1, 2010 I've been making some enquiries for vag com on the mk4 platform and here is an extract from an e-mail received from Ross-tech.For the MKIV Golf platform, you would need our KEY series interface (the USB version plays on the Wii phenomena and is named the KII-USB). If you want to have coverage for a VW/Audi cars from 1995 through 2010, then you would need a HEX series interface. Both of these interfaces run the current release of VCDS.On a budget? Then consider getting a 409.1 compatible interface from Gendan. They sell a product that really works and they are one of our distributors so you can expect good support from them. Once you have 409.1 compatible lead, down load the software from our site, install the drivers that Gendan provides, run the software to make things are working in our free shareware mode. If you find you want more features and benefits than the shareware version gives, you can buy a license from us for $99 to unlock the whole 409.1 version. Link to post Share on other sites
