stu h 0 Posted December 16, 2004 Report Share Posted December 16, 2004 right...I've noticed that when i blip the throttle fairly gently when the car is idling (also noticed it does it when slowing down for junctions too) after i have relesed the acelerator pedal there is kind of a secondary noise from the exhaust- hard to describe - kind of like the exhaust is inhailing or burping or something. almost wants to let out a little pop if you blip it hard enough.the engine also (i may be imagining this) seems a bit louder too and the performance seems to be a little flat.could this be the exhaust? is the noise over-running or something?? any ideas chaps?? stu h 0 Posted December 16, 2004 Author Report Share Posted December 16, 2004 ok, cheers - will take it to my mechanic on my way home from work tommorrow - if he's still open - and get him to put it up on the ramps to get a proper look - dont fancy taking it straight to kwik fit monkeys. as for the air intake - had a quick peek at the filter before and it appeared to be quite new-will see what i can do in my lunch break but theres a limit to what i can do wearing a shirt and tie!! lolany other suggestions??[ Edited Thu Dec 16 2004, 07:41PM ] Link to post Share on other sites
