I agree with Bungy look at the 312 option first unless you are going for silly power. Rears do not do that much so personally would not upgrade these in size - just use better pads & get new discs if the current ones have seen better days. Consider changing your brake fluid at the time on the upgrade as well if this has not been done recently

No rear r32 discs are vented, your probably best to just go with mk4 calipers to go over your original discs.

Front r32 route:

Pair of ebc disc- £200

Pads ebc- £70

S/S lines- £60

Might be an idea to upgrade your master cylinder too ;-)

Yes if they fit under your wheels, some 17" wheels will work, but 18" is prefured.

If not 312mm conversion will do, quite well and should fit under 16" wheels.

But as soul-2-soul said, r32 brakes are for serious power, imo i'd use the 312mm brakes.

There is a thread on here about fitting 312 brakes, have a look, its pretty simple.
