VR6Pete 1,455
Never got around to getting the pre-paid meters removed from the house when I bought the house, they are doing my head in, so gonna go with the norm....What enery companies are people with at the moment, offering best rates? I just want it gone. looked on uswitch and stuff like that, but they are never accurate, just best guesses, prefer some real-world advice cheersPete

SamboVr6 0
When i lived with my parents they had a meter in that had been there from before they moved in and it used to cost a fortune. They had it rmoved and the cost has pretty much halved.

VR6Pete 1,455
I like the idea of these smart meter's.... pay what you use, but the starting charge on the gas / electric is about 28p, but the units are about half a pence cheaper than everywhere else. Jamesr_VR6 0
^^ I work for a courier company that service eon, npower and scottish southern electricityAt the moment we are tendering for "metering work" where a massive project in scotland is going ahead to install meters in most homesAnd if that goes well it will be rolled out across england/wales and msot people will end up being on a meter.
