muttley 0 Posted February 5, 2010 Author Report Share Posted February 5, 2010 some more picsI really need to clean it lolHe is my first VR6 and i love it.Had some issue's along the way though, Thermostat fail, alternator fail, rocker gasket fail, leaking boot and dodgy starter, some of you know that is was very close in getting rid but then i drove him and fell in love with it once again.Long live Shnitzel, i dont know if you can see but there is a new addition to my sticker collection on the rear window. that is Shnitzel from the cartoon Chowder for those of you who dont watch it lol Link to post Share on other sites

muttley 0 Posted February 25, 2010 Author Report Share Posted February 25, 2010 I've been slowly getting round to doing bits n bobs on the vr so i've taken a few more photo'sI've replaced the rocker gasket so while the cover was off i took this, its not very often you get to see inside Twisted my grill badge around just for the hell of it lol and sprayed it blackHere's my stickers ShnitzelAnd something for the little Chavs in there Clio's and Saxo's to remember me byI decided to make a little 'how to' thread for blacking out headlights but this happenedlooks good so far dunnit, got the glass seperated and it all cleaned upthen i masked it all offthen sprayed it ,, lovelyand then took maskin tape off and this happened not a happy bunny, does anyone know where i can by some refletive paint lolAnd here are some more of the carOh while i remember i sprayed this as well but then i dropped it so i have to do it again but it didnt look half bad Link to post Share on other sites
muttley 0 Posted March 4, 2010 Author Report Share Posted March 4, 2010 All this just to change my alternator loland after all that we put all back together and was left with three bolts and thisdoes anyone know where it goes. the loom goes down behind the lower lights to the horns and this is with them. am i right in assuming it should plug into the back of the bumper somewhere? Can't get mines apart.Put them in the oven on gas mark 4 and leave em in there for 5 mins.Pre heat the oven 1st and put them in lense down strait on the rack.Use a screw driver to prise them apart a bit at a time while they are still warm,its surprisingly easy to do Link to post Share on other sites
