Greg VR6 0
Just noticed my ABS light has come on and have checked on my snowy road and there is no attempt from the system to work. I have done over 200 miles over the last few days in really poor conditions, snow, ice etc and the ABS has taken has come into play quite a bit. My question relates to if the poor road conditons ,or the snow or ice would have caused a malfunction from the system or one of sensor? Is it worth re-setting the ECU to see if that does any good? VR6Nat 9
It could just be a sensor... best bet is to get it on vag com and it should tell you if one isnt workin, then you can go and check it out, see if its been knocked about by the ice or something... Greg VR6 0
All sorted, a random look under the bonnet then under the car followed by 2 taps on the light and a quick drive and the light has gone and ABS is now back. Cracking work!
