DanH 1 Posted December 5, 2009 Report Share Posted December 5, 2009 its deffo not the same as any of the petrols, ive looked in them all. wouldnt think the same in the diesel either... ive put mine back in for a bit of extra filtration and MPG and forgotten how quiet it is! tho before id got my cone filter id drilled a shit load of holes in the orginal airbox - but 2 layers of duct tape later it was back to standard hahaha!feels like it has a little more torque lower down so i think i might keep it in...miss the noise already tho Link to post Share on other sites

DanH 1 Posted December 7, 2009 Report Share Posted December 7, 2009 yea i noticed that, was having a little fun in it the other day and was on the limiter without realising for a bit! its almost tooooooo quiet but does drive better. feels frantic and thrashy with the cone and smooth and torquey with the airbox - amazing wot difference it makes!!! tho used to love planting my foot and make it roar to impress chavs lol :-p Link to post Share on other sites
