Gear box options????????

Basically early next year i'm going to buy my first vr6 with the intentions of using it as a track car/toy. I don't want to spend lots of money on the engine trying to make it faster, so i was wondering if any other gearbox would fit from a different model, ideally something with a lower gear ratio ( i know top speed will suffer) so the car will accelerate quicker.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

g60 final drive, dont know the ins and outs but its highly recomended on here. someone here will have more info
