russj249 2 Posted November 27, 2009 Report Share Posted November 27, 2009 sounds like what mine was doing.Firstly get it on VAG COM and it'll show up any fault codes. Sounds to me like a Mass Air Flow meter.Somebody on here might be able to back me up on this.If it is the MAF, it will come up on VAG COM as a fault code. That's the 1st thing to try.Or the old fasioned way.. Unplug your MAF sensor and see if the problem is worse, better or the same.If it's the same chances are its the MAF.hope this helps Link to post Share on other sites
