Taping noise, sounds bit tapety

Hi, my vr has done 76 thou and i noticed

it sounds a little tappy, it drives great as i

got ??? tje other day and it seamed happy

i am a mechanic but dont know these engines.

Any ideas, may be lifters or something?

If its only at cold then thats fine, all the vr's sound bit tapet until they've warmed up.

Could try giving it a service, fresh oil sometimes helps the tappets.

well so far ive put thr induction kit on, a new set of jom coil overs, new wheels, halo headlights, led tail, new plugs, leads, plasma dials, carbon front upper front brace, full black hi line leather, 2 front wings, windscreen. The stuff left to fit is, full stainless strate threw exaust, big break kit, lime green samco hoses, rear upper brace and full respray. Then ile start with the engine, supercharger, multiple throtle bodys, cams etc, may be even some nice pistons.

mines been tappety for ages now ive flushed the oil n drained twice now been like it for over a year !2 mechanics have said dont worry about it, they all sound like that but not sure? its producing more than standard horsepower with very little done to it so think it must be ok

same with mine. can't say what power its putting out but still pulls very well,sounds tappety even after regular oil changes. been like that for ages with no issues....
