timbo100 0
right guys, i'm new to the club and need a bit of help with the old 94 VR6. On acceleration the engine is holding back and letting go fairly rapidly, a bit like a M.A.F problem but its not that. also if you get the engine normal running temp and and leave it for say 15-20 mins it will turn over for about 5 seconds before starting again. its not the M.A.F or plugs and leads. Thinkin maybe low fuel pressure, coil, blocked exhaust, HEGO, M.A.P (is there one?) tps, throtle body, ckp??? any of those know faults on the VR6?? help..!!!!
VR6Pete 1,455
Have you put it on the VAG-COM yet, that should detail any fault codes stored in the ECU.
