bungy 2
I'm looking to decat my 4mo and thought it would be worth buying a cat from the breakers, removing the insides and replacing my cat with the OEM pipe with it's guts removed. I understand the 4mo has 2 lamda's with the 2nd comparing with the 1st. As the 2 readings get closer then a fault alarm will be triggered. Is it possible to overcome this? If I blank the second boss and strap the 2nd sensor up out the way will this frig the sensor into believing it is in clean air and so negate the warning? Has anyone had a go at this and how do you get it all to work?Any help advice most welcome.
UnitedMotorsport 55
Leaving the sensor in fresh air under the car wont work. You need to have the 2 post CAT sensors turned off in ECU software.
bungy 2
Could that be done with Vagcom?
