advie needed asap

my car has been at a garage now over a year the garage has been paid fully for 4 months and i still dont have my car back and dont know what work if any has been done i cant just pop and see him as i am working away i have paid for all the bits and for the work to be done has anyone got any advice on how to get the work completed by the garage in the next few weeks or on what my chances are in court of getting my money back and how long it will take i have had no contact with the garage fro over 5 weeks now but know my car is still there as my mate keeps his car there but he hasnt seen how much work has been done either any hadvice on this would be great

new wheels lowered by 50 ml all round new front grill smoothed bumpers small mirrors and new arial new gear box mounting and mot no idea whats done and what needs doing apart from bumpers been smoothed not sure if painted yet though and mot not been done and not even sure if all parts are at the garage or if he waiting on them to be delivered he said he orderd them months ago and tey are waiting for collection just dont kn ow if he has collected yet and also new side skirt on the passenger side and new fogs to be fitted but i know he has them as i bought them and the shop sent them to him he has had 2500 of me and still no bloody car

well i had an accident at work so that slowed the job up by 4 momths like i said now been paid fully for 4 months and no contact for 5 weeks been in touch with a solictor and sent a pre action letter to him but if it goes to court it could take 8 months to get my money back and not got the money spare to get another garage to do the work to it also looking for a good body shop in loughborough or leicester if anyone can recomend one

MARC in Melton Mowbray have had a few people saying they are good.

MARC stands for Melton Accident Repair Centre.

As for other place it might be a case of leaving it with solicitor or going down to the garage and telling them you want you money back then passing it onto your solicitor
