I have removed it from the hub, got the boot off, but for the life of me I cannot get the joint off. I need some advice. Its driving me nuts.ThanksRichard Link to post Share on other sites
legvw 0 Posted July 25, 2009 Report Share Posted July 25, 2009 You need to un-bolt it from the gearbox, clamp the driveshaft in a vice, and then beat the outer cv off. It may sound harsh but its the truth!!! A few hard whacks with a bigish hammer should do it :-) Link to post Share on other sites

Is it a case of of undoing the bolts then just pulling out the drive shaft?I am getting nervous now, as I onYes, there is 6 bolts that bolt the inner cv to the gearbox flange, undo them and it will come off as 1 lump.
