craggsy 91
But it does also say you may get hit with import tax. Others with VRTs will be along to say that its no good too
Kelster 0
Any kit that cost less than buying a decent turbo is not gonna be great imo.
AmitUk 0
I am not looking for crazy power.. Just another 50bhp or so.Seems good valueAmit
craggsy 91
You want to go turbo for just an extra 50bhp?Minimum you will see with most turbos is 300-350bhp
Dave_ciw 507
If you can fit it yourself then Knock yourself out, But jim potter did a turbo for less tahn a grand taking into account your import tax that kit will cost you at least that. Thats with no arp head bolts on that kit or gasket so def better sourcing parts yourself second hand and constructing your own. IMO your prob going a bit extreme for just a 50 bhp gain try other things cams remap bmc cda should see you over 200 anyways.
craggsy 91
Oh and you wont be happy with 230/240bhp no matter how much you tell youself

jims13 6
kit is too expensive for what it is.. and some bits wont work. if you want 50-100 bhp go z engineering or vortech charger.. anything else rotrex or turbo.source the parts seperatly and save some money.. you doing the fitting or someone else. jims13 6
oh arp bolts and lowered compression aint needed if your staying at around 290-300 bhp. saves money.. but they are handy if you change your mind
legvw 0
A turbo kit with a turbo thats un-named and only has a 90 day warrenty? No, no, no, don't do it! It'll cost more to sort out if your turbo explodes and f**ks your engine up! Imo go with jims advice, source your own parts, take your time fitting them, and reep the results! :-)
Dave_ciw 507
oh arp bolts and lowered compression aint needed if your staying at around 290-300 bhp. saves money.. but they are handy if you change your mindDidnt know that Jim very happy as I ave me tub, cooler and pipework..........
