if you want a cheap set just to lower then look at koni or the likes for spring/damper/shock absober sets. they are not fully ride height adjustable and you will get a 20-40mm lowering options. But that way the springs are rated for the car and they wont fail.... then you can always sell them on later when you upgrade... to coilovers

yeah i would just get a set of 2nd hand coilovers, you might find that you wont be going round bends very well or safely with those springs ya found.

Just seen that your from leigh, all my family live there and im from wigan, got a vr6 turbo look out for me lol

Hi there, 80mm is a hell of a lot to drop a vr, I dropped mine a few weeks ago 50 fr 45 rear,on 15s and its a ball ache mate, the sump sits very low and its allready smashed up, ground to floor contact is very common and if I have more than myself in the car I have to plan my route on smooth roads, get coilies at least then you can lift it back up again, do a search its a common prob on the vr

cheers matt

damn u lot talk sense, jus wanted u to say 'yea slam it on the floor'....buuuut..........

spose if i cant afford proper coilovers then replacing the oil pump or engine every 100 miles when i smash it up is out of the question.....

daxmatt...u got any pics of urs on the 15's?
