Some of you are probably already aware of this guy, he's been going for a while now, and unfortunately with changing IP and email addresses there's no way of digging him out until he's already scammed someone. Normally we don't have these things discussed publicly, as before all the facts are known it just ends up in a one-sided witchhunt.

The facts in this case are quite loaded, well documented elsewhere, so I'm issuing a warning.

Real name: Paul Woodward

Paypal email usually contains: paulbmx or one of the above

Location: Usually given as Liverpool or Widnes.

Just to make you all aware we have had an email from Club GTi regarding another scammer - he is not active on this site but he may be on other sites you use :)

My name is Stu, and I`m a moderator over at Club GTI (www.clubgti.com)

This message is just to make you aware of a possible scammer. He goes by the name `Benthejettaman` or `Bentheboffin`.

He took money from one of our members, but failed to provide the goods, and has continuely evaded all attempts at contact.

His known email address are barryvenn @ hotmail.co.uk and bentheboffin @ talk21.com

We also have his home address and IP address if required.

If you have any information/previous experience of him could you please let me know.

Bentheboffin is an active member of http://www.rubbadubz.co.uk and use's bentheboffin @ talk21.com under his profile name if he needs chasing?

I have also been scammed within the last month! After posting interest in a corrado being broken by a guy called Neil H on this site I recieved a personal email from a guy called ABDUL QUDAR, or "ABBS" as he called himself. Apparently from Tipton, West Midlands. I assumed this was the same guy with a different user name as he emailed me telling me he had a complete engine for sale and came across genuine. This was the only site I posted interest. After many conversations I payed upfront for a corrado 2.9 engine and gearbox (£660). The engine turned up and had a large crack in the block! So was usless to me. I told the driver to take it back to the guy. I could not gain contact for 3 days and then finally he made contact, telling me he is gonna sort this all out. That was over 3 weeks ago, no contact made, no matter how hard I have tried. So im £660 down and am not happy as you can imagine. So a word of warning, no matter how trust worthy someone might come across do not hand over money unless you are confident on the condition of the item, especially when its not a small amount of money.

Just to let you all know that Paul Woodward seems to be back on sites again either trading as woodysbodywerx or gtithatdub or something similar - he will normally reply to wanted ad's and require an upfront deposit - be aware on here and other sites you use peeps :)
