jonny_gti 0 Posted March 20, 2009 Report Share Posted March 20, 2009 hi guys just looking for a bot of advice here. last night my OBD2 golf vr6 decided to blow a piston so decided to just try get a 2.9 corrado engine n drop it in.so was wondering since mines is a obd2 vr6 golf an the rado vr6 will be a obd1 engine what would need doing to put it in or will it simple fit straight in and run fine. also my golf had schrick 264" cams will these fit straight into the 2.9 also.thanks for any help. cabrioman 6 Posted March 20, 2009 Report Share Posted March 20, 2009 all ull need to do is use the block and head from the rado lump you will be able to bolt on all the other bits from ur buggered engine ... thats wot i dont with mine and yes that cams will fiit in the 2.9 Link to post Share on other sites
