daxmatt 0 Posted March 17, 2009 Report Share Posted March 17, 2009 Hi all I have just got a jamex lowering kit and have a question, the car is a 96 ob2 model, and on the rear original susp the small pig tail on the spring fits to the bottom of the shock and the wider part to top, and it looks like this will be how the new stuf fits is this correct or have I got the wrong kit and some one has bodged the rears before hand silly question I know but dont want to strip the car and find out its all to pot cheers matt Link to post Share on other sites

Ben Seabrook 4 Posted March 17, 2009 Report Share Posted March 17, 2009 don't think there is much difference between obd1 and 2 in spring size mate - no difference in the weight of the cars so should not need bigger springs, they normally specify kits as specific for a vr6 but not really between the two ages *-) you should also get new top mounts when you change them mate - only a few quid from gsf or euro car parts Link to post Share on other sites
