VR6 exhaust glowing bright orange???

Hi All

I have had some developments with my misfiring VR,

Had a compression test done and 5 of the cylinders are 140 psi and Number 4 is 150 psi, so all seems fine with the head gaskit

Just been out for a run in the VR and after 10 min run, car gets up to temp and it starts missing and coughing as usual, got home and I could smell a hot metal smell, took a look under the car and the Cat was bright orange all over!! and so was the exhaust from the Cat to the back box, the exhaust is stainless steel, front pipe and manifold were fine,

Any feed back would be great

cat is prob part blocked take the bolt out of the front of the cat and run it that is if it has one if no then take the cat off and check it deff sounds like a blocked cat
