jesterwalker69 0
Right, this wretched vehicle has now developed a strong petrol smell in the cabin and engine bay which only seems noticable when i come to a standstill. I know its pretty vague but anyone able to shed any light on the problem?Cheers
S.i.m.o.n 0
Has your carbon canister been removed? if so it could be the pipe that comes from the tank, just letting out the fumes
jesterwalker69 0
It has but its not that, i've found the problem! An old snapped air filter bracket has been left connected and has been rubbing over the years against the rubberised fuel lines that run up the block. Needless to say its put a little hole into one of the lines Anyone know A) How much a new line is and how much of a job it is to replace??!
