jarmitage1986 0
does anyone know how to use the mk5 r32 fuel rail with the mk2 fuel lines? the mk5 r32 BUB engine's fuel rail has a single port for a fuel line rather than the 2 lines used on mk2's, vr's and even the mk4 r32. Also, does anyone know if you need a maf to run the engine when using storm developments stand alone management? cheers, James
FishWick 21
Storm use an Emerald ECU, which does not use a MAF sensor. It uses a MAP sensor. If the R32 fuel rail has no tank return line in the traditional sense, you can use an external 3 way regulator. Both your original fuel lines plumb into the regulator and fuel is immediately returned to the tank, the 3rd connection goes to the R32 rail and is regulated to the required pressure.Have a chat with Vince at Stealth, or Storm, as they must have come accross this problem themselves and should be able to help. FishWick 21
I think Storm probably use a GM map sensor and include it in the package. If not, they're only 60 ish quid.
