parners100 0
I have recently bought EBC yellowstuff pads for the front of my VR6, since getting them I have heard that they are very poor from cold, the bloke i spoke to at EBC (unsurprisingly) told me that they have a new compound which has no trouble stopping from cold.Has anyone got yellowstuff pads they bought in the last 12 months, and if they have - do they work when they are cpld? parners100 0
nice one mate, i've got the 312mm discs as well, just heard some mixed reports about the pads, but it definately looks like they have sorted out the problem. with any luck should have them on the car in a few days - just need to get the spacers sorted out! spindat45 0
Sorry to hijack the thread guys but are you both running the 312 conversion? If so any issues/problems I should be aware of as i'm planning on doing this to mine. Are you running standard or drilled discs? I've had a good look at the thread on the conversion but if you could add anything to this I'd be greatful. Kevin
craggsy 91
I had standard TT discs on for a while and they were good. Now have EBC ultimax discs on and they are soooo much better
spindat45 0
Thanks for that. They look the bees knees! Did you do the conversion with the plate and existing calipers or the complete set up?
craggsy 91
Used existing calipers at first...then swapped calipers after a while
parners100 0
I've got the same EBC ultimax discs, and im using the original calipers, although i haven't quite got em on the car yet as im having a little trouble having the spacer for them made. craggsy 91
Same calipers mate. Just that i put new ones on that only had delivery mileage on. Saves having to rebuild em in near future
