SHARKY 0
Hi guys,Not sure where to put this so I've stuck it in here...I've been suffering with misted windows on the INSIDE of my car the last couple of winters and its starting again... :@ I had a water leak (which I think I fixed) but as the weathers starting to get wetter (if it could get ANY wetter lol) I'm getting steamy windows again - no girls involved :-( Anyway, thinking back I think I got this since I fitted my decat about two years ago... I'm wondering if any of you guys with decats are experiencing similar occurrences? I'm not saying the decat is causing it, just reasoning stuff out - could it contribute? I also fitted heated leather aournd the same time...???I have one of those rubber gaiter things under the leather gaiter which minimises air flowing inside the car from there...Does the decat get hotter then a cat and therefore stay hotter after the car stopped, therefore keeping the inside warm? This car is my daily driver and I only go to work and back so only doing about 12 miles a day. I know if there's damp in the car its not getting a chance to clear out.I had a respray this year so I know my windows are sealed (as far as I know...)I intend to start another leak hunt when I can get some time spare and the weathers kind to me lol.Thought I'd open a discussion on this and would welcome any and all comments and suggestions. ip 0
Stupid question but, have you changed your pollen filter. I thought my old polo's hot air blower had conked out it got so bad (couldn't even de-mist with one person inside). Replaced the filter and never misted up again!.ip
Seademon 0
You sure that your carpets or the stuff underneath isnt getting wet? This would cause it to steam up - wouldnt be anything to do with the cat.
