getkettleon 0 Posted October 24, 2008 Report Share Posted October 24, 2008 put all the parts I have for my obd1 engine back in the bay, I'm missing the wiring loom for the radiator fan and radiator sensor, and I'm having trouble findin a belt to drive the second fan from the twin fan radiator, does anyone have a part code for the wire, and does anyone have any ideas about different lenghts among the differnt car models, the belt I got from the dealers was too short (I assumed the engine being from a mk3 golf that the belt would be, I asked at the dealers and gave the fan part code but they wernt much help) we fired it up before we left just to see how she was running, misfires and fuel seems a little rich so will go through all the obvoius stuff first thing in the morning, Ive removed the aircon and put a new power steering pump with the neccesary pulley and shorter belt but it's real noisey, have to see how it sounds in the morning then the power steering fluid has settled. the engine hasnt been run for a while and we've put it under the bonnet of a mk2, if anyone can help with information regarding the parts, or any ideas of any thing else we should consider when ironing out the problems, we would be very grateful cheers Link to post Share on other sites
