hi all im a new bee and need some help

i have a caravelle vr6 engine code aes. which had low compression on 2 cylinders . so i striped it to find no 1 had eaten something and damaged bore beyond rebore. any way im having a lot of trouble getting a block. so what i wanted to know is. what is the difference between the aaa and aes? i have been told by one person its the casting for the engine mounts. but then been told by others there is nothing different in the blocks

If you can find a late (95>) AAA block, you can use this.

The later block has the mouting points cast into the side of the block.
