Gog 0
There's something about angel eye headlights .... I have to get some (as my first, minor, mod)Does anyone have any experience of which are good/bad? Easy to fit? (yes, I'm a noob - I'll check the haynes as soon as I get chance)Thanks
mark@vagworx 0
I've just taken some off mine and sold them! They were on the car when i bought them, so no idea of what make they were.Dead easy to fit. * Firstly pop out the grill, an assortment of clips hold it on. * Once the grill's off you should be able to see the bolts that hold the headlights in. 3 or 4 bolts on each unit i believe. Either a 8mm or 10mm socket needed.....can't quite remember which one! * Once unbolted, pull the headlight unit out a little and unplug the electrical connector at the back.* Re-fitting is the reversal. DundeeDub 0
Either a 8mm or 10mm socket needed.....can't quite remember which one! i'm sure it was a 6mm socket i used todayon a different note and sorry to hi jack the thread but i was trying out some tinted lights but didn't have any side lights to fit so was running on just the main lights, anyway to the point there was a very noticable difference in the brightness with the old set being alot brighter.any thoughts?? DundeeDub 0
the tinted were alot duller as in about 1/3 of the originals, but i was only using one bulb in the tinted one (not the side light)could have been using the wrong wattage of bulb thinking on it, what should it be??
