Recommended Posts

Have you got 8.5 inch wide or more rear wheels?

Are they 16s or 17's?

What ET are they standard?

Whats the final ET with the PCD adaptors/spacers you run?

What tyre size do you run?

How much have you lowered the car?

Do fat chicks make them scrub? :)

Ta all

iv got 9j rears. their 16's. ET15 i think or ET20 not sure. No spacers. tyres are 205/40/16's. Not sure how much it's lowered..here's a pic. And no they don't scrub as iv grinded the arches. But they did rub before i grinded the arches.

I ran 9x16 ET15 all round, low as car is now and no rubbing issues at all apart from when mate was in back or undulations in road. Best stance on the VR in my opinion. But wanted 312mm brakes and wouldnt fit over them without using spacers and that would of been more trouble than was worth

I ran 9x16 et 15s lowered till axle hits floor, arches rolled and pulled slightly, rubbed when bottomed out, now running 8.5 x 17 et 35 with 10mm spacer and only catched on leading edge of arch, should be pulled in next couple of weeks so can run dropped 140mm without issues apart from floor hitting the road :o

cheers guys, thats given me some numbers to do comparisons on, my new ones are 17 inch, 8 at the front and 8.5 at the rear, Ill use stretched tyres for abit more clearance

Going through the numbers from H13VVY's post mine should be a doddle!! hahaha thought 9 wide would be serious work!

I know the guy who designed these 20 inch wheels and designed the hardware to make them fit on this Citroen C2!!!! (witchcraft I reacon!!)
