SimonABT 0 Posted July 14, 2008 Report Share Posted July 14, 2008 After crashing my Mk2 VR6 i bought a really really cheap 1994 VR6 Mk3. Had a slight whiring noise from the engine once it got hot. The car was only a temp run around and i was just gonna drive it till it goes bang, until i finish my latest Mk2 VR project. But i have thought about it more and think i may just find out what the noise is and fix it! Any suggestions?The noise is not tappy, it just sounds like something is wearing out at the back of the engine. The car has done 112k miles and no idea what has been replaced on it, i have changed oil, leads, plugs, etc. Link to post Share on other sites
