amazak 3
Ok bought the car yesterday and drove fine, got a new spare key cut and programmed today and tested it out all was well......until I switched it off. Now it seems to have a mind of it's own. The car now starts whenever she decides to! I have tried both keys (old and new) and same issue. The new key was made at a locksmith who had this machine that read the old key and duplicated it. The clifford alarm also has an immobiliser but when the ignition is on and I press the button on the key fob the clifford led light goes off but will not start. Very strange! This has all occurred after the new key was cut and programmed.

mannie 0
The passive immobiliser has cut in,you'd need to arm and disarm the clliford before firing the car up,also there should be an override switch somewhere in the car.........welcome back to VR
